The Young And The Restless

This week I have really been lacking inspiration. Excuse the negativity, but my busy week at work has left me feeling as though life is a little mundane, not to mention exhausting. I then realised, that it's kind of the point. Being in your twenties means working madly to save a dollar for the next adventure, only to splurge on the dress that you 'just gotta have'. It means being so tired that you don't want to talk to anyone, yet you still decide to go out (even though you have work the next morning). It means you yell, cry... and then find yourself laughing, for no reason at all. It means that all the things that seem routine are actually the things making memories. So here's to the years of doing whatever the hell you want!

Relaxed ripped denim.
Always up to no good.

Day dreaming about somewhere I'd rather.
Carrie is on the money.

The ability to look effortlessly chic.

Enjoy your selfish years!

I'll take the soup of the day.

Everyones desperately trying to be different.

Young love.

Getting a tattoo for no good reason.

Blair Waldorf knows how it goes.

I Agree.

Who Gon Stop Me?

I am sure I have already mentioned this, but why not say it again...? I LOVE music. Whether I am working, studying, daydreaming of fashion, food or organising my social calendar, I am undoubtedly doing so to my very own life soundtrack. Although I like to think my taste is quite diverse, from Phil Collins right through to Kanye West, my passion for r&b and hip hop grows stronger every day! The impact of music on society is ever present, and can be interpreted through fashion and lifestyle. Well in my case anyway!

Who would've thought?

All black errythang.

Marcus' flawless impersonations of rappers (Jay Z) has made my love for r&b and hip hop grow.

Black on Black.

Lifestyles of the rich and the famous.

Love it!

Here Comes the Sun

Spring has finally arrived! And what better way to welcome the season of blossoming gardens, stricter exercise regimes, shorter hemlines and brighter prints, than with Melbourne Spring Fashion Week? My fashion week festivities began when I attended day 2, and was front row at the Ben Sherman show. As it was my first ever runway show I was on cloud 9, it was such a fantastic experience to see the finished product of what is months of planning and such attention to detail. Day 3 was a highlight, Designer Runway 2 was an amazing experience. Manning Cartel's spring range is stunning, as is Alice McCalls flawless collection. Shortly after the show, I hurried off to Fashion Connect's fundraising event at Melbourne's funky Spice Market. Although the busy week has now come to an end, it undoubtedly will be happening all over again soon, and there is nothing more motivating than a splash of sunlight!

The start of something beautiful.

Ben Sherman's chic spring style.

Splash of colour for spring! My outfit for Designer Runway 2 & The Spice Market.

Loved the extravagant and entertaining theme for the show.

Nicole Ritchie knows what works. Stunning spring outfit inspo.

New season, new thoughts.

Spring in all its glory.

All smiles before my busy night out!

Chanel & Peonies... need I say more?
