The past few weeks have kept me busy, with the production and presentation of my very first photo shoot. The following post is a little glimpse into the shoot that I styled, and a short story about why I selected the particular theme. Special thanks to the model (my spunky sister), the makeup artist (mum- yes talented family I have), the photographer (Jasmine McCallum),clothes & accessories (Jo Ferguson), and the beautiful location- Jinks Creek Wine Bar (Tonimbuk).
...A young girl is is discovering her sense of self. She has grown up
in a rural area, with very little exposure to the world around her. Although
she has lived a sheltered life in a picturesque town, she is beginning to
question whether the quiet life is really what she wants. Determined to break out of
the mould she begins to experiment. Staying up all hours of the night leaves
her little time to tame her hair, let alone remove the previous nights makeup.
To create a mysterious allure she has an eclectic style, utilizing the dark
shades of black and grey. Not only is she beautiful, but also intelligent, with
the ability to creatively piece together looks which are effortlessly chic.
